Huchuy Qosqo (small Cusco) is located in the outlying area of Cusco and Sacred Valley. This trail is mainly used by the locals to travel to different places. Which nowadays is becoming as one of the greatest hikes around Cusco. You will enjoy a nice day of hiking in the remote places, after visiting the majestic site of Huchuy Qosqo, you drive back to Cusco via Sacred Valley. Itinerary

Day 1. – Cusco – Tauca – Huchuy Qosqo- Cusco

In the morning travelers will be picked up from their hotels. In our private transport, we will take you to the Quechua village of Tauca. From here you start the hike uphill following a picturesque trail. Once you reach the mountain top there will be spectacular views of tall peaks. Afterwards we continue the hike downhill, passing some farming fields and llamas grazing places.

We then follow an Inca trail down- hill to a village of stone huts, with thatched straw on their roofs; you will walk across through a beautiful canyon just before to finish our trek to Huchuy Qosqo; arriving to the site the guide will explain you all the history of this amazing place.

After to eat our box lunch we will walk down to Lamay (3 hours). From here you will be picked up by our transfer. Who will drive you back to Cusco.
